Job Summary
Summary:
The Woven Designer will specialize in designing woven fabric-based garments such as shirting bottom wear and structured apparel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop seasonal collections for shirts trousers skirts and jackets in line with market trends and brand identity.
- Develop a strong understanding of woven fabric construction including various weave types (plain twill satin etc.).
- Research and apply appropriate wash techniques and fabric finishes to enhance product appeal.
- Create detailed tech packs for the sample room including:
- Garment construction details
- Measurements and specifications
- Stitching and finishing guidelines
- Coordinate closely with the sampling and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Stay updated with fashion trends Colores fabrics and innovations in woven garments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Fashion Design / Textile Design or related field.
13 years of experience in woven garment design (preferred).
Strong knowledge of fabric types garment construction and pattern basics.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW.
Good understanding of tech pack creation and garment detailing.

Required Education:
Diploma / Degree in Textile Technology or related field 15 years of experience in textile processing (preferred)
