Fam is Indias first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new financially aware generation and drive 250 million young users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

With a product built for teenagers every interaction matters. From onboarding and payments to nudges notifications and error states the right words can make experiences feel intuitive trustworthy and delightful.
Were looking for a top-quality UX Copywriter who can deeply understand our users simplify complex flows and craft clear engaging and human-centered copy across the product. Youll work closely with Product Design and Marketing teams to shape experiences that help users navigate the product effortlessly while building a strong and consistent Fam voice.
If you believe that a single sentence can improve a user journey reduce friction and create delight youll fit right in.
Must Haves
- Under-graduate degree (preferably communication/media/design/marketing)
- 2-4 years of experience in product copy UX writing CRM or content roles
- Strong understanding of UX writing principles and user journeys
- Experience writing for push notifications in-app communication onboarding flows error states banners and promotional campaigns
- Ability to simplify complex product concepts into sharp user-friendly copy
- Portfolio showcasing product/UX copy work
- Strong collaboration skills with product design and marketing teams
Good to have
- Experience working with fintech or consumer internet brands
- Understanding of Gen-Z communication styles and internet culture
- Familiarity with user retention engagement and activation journeys
- Basic understanding of product metrics and experimentation (CTR open rates conversions)
- Ability to balance brand tonality with product clarity
On the Job
- Own product and UX copy across the app including onboarding empty states tooltips error messages nudges banners and transactional communication
- Write high-performing push notifications promotional copy and lifecycle communication that improve engagement and retention
- Collaborate closely with product managers designers and growth teams to shape intuitive user experiences through copyEnsure all communication remains consistent with Fams tone of voice clear sharp youthful and user-first
- Participate in campaign ideation for in-app promotions and seasonal product moments
- Work on experimentation and optimization of copy across CRM and product surfaces
- Translate complex fintech concepts into simple accessible communication for young users
- Contribute to evolving the overall product voice and communication system across touchpoints
