Job Summary
Position Overview
The Monitoring Evaluation & MIS Specialist will establish and manage systems for monitoring project implementation tracking performance indicators evaluating programme outcomes and supporting evidence-based decision-making. The expert will design monitoring frameworks develop Management Information Systems (MIS) prepare dashboards and ensure timely reporting against project objectives and performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Results Frameworks and LogFrames. Design KPIs. Develop Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) frameworks. Establish MIS. Develop digital dashboards. Monitor implementation schedules. Design data collection methodologies. Analyse performance data. Coordinate data validation. Prepare monitoring and evaluation reports. Support impact assessments. Ensure data quality. Facilitate review meetings. Identify implementation risks. Support knowledge management.
Educational Qualifications
Essential: Masters in Statistics Economics Data Analytics Public Policy Information Systems Project Management Engineering Management or related.
Preferred: Certification in Monitoring & Evaluation Project Management or Data Analytics.
Professional Experience
712 years in monitoring & evaluation MIS performance management or donor-funded programmes with experience developing dashboards and reporting systems.
