Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in RAMS (Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety) to a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative innovative and dedicated teammates.
Youll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our train systems. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business such as the Engineering Design team Validation team and Central Engineering RAMS Team while also collaborating with external suppliers and other departments like Sourcing and Industrial. Youll perform RAMS analyses ensure compliance with safety requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products.
Youll specifically take care of delivering RAMS analyses in accordance with QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) commitments but also actively participate in the assessment of product RAMS performance and the identification of safety requirements.
Well look to you for:
- Performing RAMS analyses as per applicable instructions and processes
- Delivering RAMS analyses compliant with QCD commitments
- Assessing the RAMS performance of products and ensuring safety targets are met
- Applying Alstom/Engineering processes and instructions to all activities
- Reporting progress and raising alerts in case of difficulties
- Fostering technical understanding of Alstom products to enhance safety performance

- Degree in Engineering (Electrical Electro-mechanical or related field)
- 5 years of experience in Rolling stock preferably in Traction or understanding of RAMS analysis and demonstration methods
- Knowledge of rolling-stock engineering and validation
- Familiarity with safety and reliability standards
- A strong sense of priorities and time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Structured and organised with a hands-on approach
- Proficiency in English for reading and writing technical documentation
