Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Science lessons for Grades 610in accordance with the CBSE syllabus.
- Employ a variety of teaching methodologies (lectures demonstrations lab experiments projectbased learning) to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Design supervise and assess practical laboratory sessions ensuring safety and compliance with school protocols.
- Prepare and evaluate formative and summative assessments providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate academic records attendance and progress reports using the schools management system.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular science activities.
- Mentor and counsel students on academic career and personal development supporting the schools holistic education philosophy.
- Participate in professional development workshops faculty meetings and school events.
- Uphold the values and mission of Adani Vidya Mandir by promoting inclusivity ethical behavior and a growth mindset.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate degree (.) or equivalent in Physics Chemistry Biology or a related Science discipline.
- PostGraduate Diploma in Teacher Education (e.g. ) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
- Clearance of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) as per CBSE requirements.
- Strong command of the English language both written and spoken.
- Passion for teaching underprivileged children and commitment to the schools social mission.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 24 years of experience teaching Science at the senior secondary level (Grades 912) in a CBSE or comparable board.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct laboratory sessions and manage school science labs safely.
- Experience in integrating technology (smart boards digital resources) into classroom instruction.
- Track record of improving student academic performance and fostering curiosity in science.
