Test Automation on HIL frameworkJob Description:
Education:
Graduate/ Post-graduate degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science (Experience: 3-5 years)
Key responsibilities include:
- Test Scripting for an embedded system (e.g. timing aspects event-based system)
- Smart Test Script Refactoring (e.g. Test script updates by (VisualStudio) VSCode)
- Analysing failed test cases (reading test script report files / traces)
- Developing in HIL environment (configuration of HIL models HIL Graphical User Interface (GUI) identification of new model functions and validations)
- General test engineering / management know how (e.g. able to judge the importance/severity of a finding risk estimation. Tools: Quality Centre JAMA Excel)
- Efficient troubleshooting (strong resolving skills e.g. get system back to normal when not operational anymore)
Knowledge & Experience:
- General programming and software development (structured design)
- Programming language / Dev Tools: GIT/Bitbucket JIRA/Confluence XML VSCode batch files Python Client/Server
- Embedded System Controller (Linux) Communication (TCP IP UDP CAN Middleware)
- Electrical and electronics hardware design (capable in reading and understanding schematics and electrical circuits being able to perform hardware modifications)
- Mechanics/Physics of an electromechanical system (profound knowhow in kinematics machines power electronics electrical circuits ...)
- Modelling Realtime Computing (basic know how)
