Job Summary
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive audits in accordance with the approved audit plan covering planning fieldwork documentation and reporting under the guidance of the Group Lead Internal Audits.
- Collect and analyze business information including MIS data MRM presentations and prior audit findings to understand process flows and identify key risks for effective scope definition.
- Perform detailed validations process walkthroughs and system-based reviews (SAP and other platforms) to identify policy deviations and assess compliance with SOPs and regulations.
- Organize and maintain complete sequential and audit-traceable workpapers and data files to support audit conclusions and future reference.
- Prepare and issue audit reports with clear risk implications root cause analysis action plans and annexures; align findings with stakeholders through structured communication.
- Execute follow-up reviews of open audit observations to ensure sustainable implementation of corrective actions and escalate unresolved issues to audit leadership.
- Lead team performance management activities including goal setting mentoring cross-training job rotation planning and collaboration with HR on recruitment and training.
- Drive team engagement and motivation through knowledge-sharing sessions certification support (e.g. CIA CISA) and employee development programs to enhance audit service delivery.
Qualifications :
Educational Qualification
Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy Chemistry or a related field is mandatory.
Postgraduate degree in Quality Management Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field is preferred.
Certifications such as Certified GMP Professional (CGP) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent are preferred.

Critical Exposures
- 3 years of experience in areas of Quality Assurance or Regulatory Compliance is preferred
- Experience developing and implementing audit strategies and schedules for GMP compliance is mandatory
- Exposure to conducting high-level risk assessments and identifying potential areas of non-compliance within manufacturing processes including handling of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) sterile production and packaging is preferred
- Experience interpreting and applying GMP regulations from agencies such as the FDA EMA and WHO and ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures is desired
