Tendering & Estimation Engineer
Job Summary
- Review and analyze tender documents BOQs drawings and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for repair and rehabilitation projects.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and compare commercial offers.
- Prepare techno-commercial bids and tender submissions within deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients consultants and internal departments for tender-related clarifications.
- Conduct rate analysis and prepare project budgets.
- Evaluate project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain tender documentation records and bid history.
- Assist the project execution team with cost analysis and budget monitoring after project award.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements.
- Strong knowledge of tendering procedures and estimation techniques.
- Experience in repair rehabilitation waterproofing structural strengthening or restoration projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation rate analysis and quantity surveying.
- Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
Required Skills:
Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./ Civil). Additional certification in Planning or Quantity Surveying will be an advantage. Required Skills Strong knowledge of construction billing and quantity surveying. Expertise in estimation and tender preparation. Knowledge of BOQ preparation and rate analysis. Experience in project planning and scheduling. Understanding of construction contracts and commercial terms. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and team management abilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel MS Project/Primavera ERP and billing software
Required Education:
Graduation in Civil Engineering
