Techno Functional Consultant L1

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Techno Functional Consultant L1 to join our Industry Cloud & Digital team at Wipro Technologies. As part of our commitment to drive digital transformation this role involves supporting the design development and deployment of enterprise content management solutions primarily utilizing IBM FileNet technologies. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in FileNet administration combined with Java/J2EE development experience and a passion for enhancing business processes through technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer IBM FileNet P8 platforms including Content Engine Process Engine and Workplace/ICN modules to support enterprise-level document management and workflow automation needs.
• Develop configure and customize FileNet solutions aligned with technical specifications derived from functional requirements ensuring adherence to development standards.
• Collaborate across teams to gather analyze and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions facilitating seamless integration with Unix/Linux systems and relational databases.
• Support production environments through prompt incident management and resolution maintaining system stability and optimal performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives involving CI/CD processes and DevOps practices to enhance deployment efficiency and operational reliability.

As a Techno Functional Consultant L1 you will assume a critical role in the end-to-end lifecycle of FileNet applications. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Requirement Gathering: Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to capture functional requirements comprehensively facilitating the translation into clear actionable technical specifications.
• Configuration and Customisation: Implement development tasks involving coding configuration and minor customizations ensuring alignment with defined design frameworks and compliance with best practice standards.
• Technology Harmonisation: Assist in integration testing by rigorously validating system interfaces identifying discrepancies and resolving foundational technical issues.
• Troubleshooting and Optimisation: Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks or configuration anomalies within FileNet modules contributing to overall solution robustness.
• Documentation: Produce comprehensive user guides configuration documentation and testing artifacts to support operational teams and end-users effectively.

You will collaborate closely with technical leads developers and business analysts to ensure solutions are delivered with operational excellence and customer satisfaction at the forefront.

• IBM FileNet Administration: Proven experience in administering and maintaining FileNet P8 components including Content Engine Process Engine and User Workplace/ICN interfaces.
• Java/J2EE Development: Solid competencies in Java/J2EE for application development enabling customization and extension of FileNet functionalities.
• Workflow Automation & Document Management: In-depth understanding of document-centric workflows automation mechanisms and best practices in enterprise content management.
• Unix/Linux Systems: Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments to support integration deployment and troubleshooting activities.
• SQL and Database Knowledge: Ability to work with relational databases executing queries and managing data as part of content management solutions.
• Production Support & Incident Management: Experience handling live system issues applying root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions swiftly.
• CI/CD and DevOps Principles: Awareness of continuous integration and deployment frameworks to support efficient software delivery pipelines.
