We are hiring a technical content writer to own Phyllos blog and technical content. You will write in-depth content for an engineering audience across APIs SDKs webhooks scrapers proxies and the infrastructure topics around them. You will work hand in hand with our SEO and AEO team own the content calendar and run the full workflow from brief to distribution. This is a writing seat first so most of your time goes into producing content that a developer would actually finish reading and forward to a colleague.
Key responsibilities
Write technical blog content that adds real value for an engineering audience covering APIs SDKs webhooks scrapers proxies and related infrastructure topics
Understand technical jargon well enough to write about it clearly and get up to speed on unfamiliar topics by reading product and technical documentation rather than waiting to be taught
Work closely with the SEO and AEO team translating their briefs keyword and entity targets and structure guidelines into content that ranks and gets cited by AI search engines
Own the content calendar end to end plan it against business priorities and keep it shipping consistently
Manage the full content workflow from brief to publish including research drafting editing and quality control
Run content distribution across developer communities social channels newsletters and partner co-marketing
Interview engineers and customers when a topic needs firsthand detail then turn the raw material into a clear argument
Hold the editorial bar for anyone else who writes for Phyllo including freelancers and founders
Experience we are looking for
4 to 8 years in content marketing technical writing or developer marketing with meaningful time spent writing for an engineering or developer audience
Proven ability to understand technical concepts around APIs SDKs webhooks scraping and proxies either from existing knowledge or by learning quickly from technical docs
A published portfolio of technical blog content that shows both depth and clarity with links you can share
Working understanding of SEO and AEO and a track record of collaborating closely with an SEO team rather than working around it
Demonstrated ownership of a content calendar and the workflow behind it from planning through publishing and distribution
Comfort operating without a large team scoping and delivering content independently
Nice to have
Engineering data engineering or computer science background
Familiarity with web scraping infrastructure proxy networks or anti-bot systems
Experience marketing to data teams trust and safety teams or fintech and screening buyers
Comfort working in docs tooling and Git-based workflows
Prior work at an API-first or infrastructure company
