Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Team Manager to lead a finance operations team while also contributing as an Individual Contributor (IC) in Accounts Payable (AP) Reporting. This is a hybrid role requiring a balance of hands-on reporting responsibilities and people management within the Record to Report (RTR) function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team handling RTR (Record to Report) activities.
  • Own and deliver AP Reporting accurately and within defined timelines.
  • Monitor team performance productivity and adherence to SLAs/KPIs.
  • Drive month-end and period-end reporting activities.
  • Review reports identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Handle stakeholder communication and provide regular business updates.
  • Coach mentor and develop team members to improve performance.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 710 years of experience in Finance & Accounting Operations.
  • Strong experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Reporting.
  • Good understanding of RTR (Record to Report) processes.
  • Proven people management and team handling experience.
  • Strong analytical reporting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a shared services/BPO environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in US Shift.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce Finance or Accounting.
  • MBA (Finance) CA Inter CMA Inter or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
