Job Title: HRT PYP (Homeroom Teacher)

Location: OAKRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL BANGALORE

Job Summary:
The PYP Homeroom Teacher is responsible for delivering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) through inquiry-based learning creating a safe engaging and inclusive classroom environment and supporting the academic social and emotional development of students. The teacher collaborates with colleagues and parents to ensure holistic student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging IB PYP lessons.
  • Foster inquiry-based and student-centered learning.
  • Assess monitor and report student progress.
  • Create a positive inclusive and safe classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers parents and school leadership.
  • Participate in school events professional development and IB initiatives.
  • Uphold safeguarding wellbeing and school policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Education or relevant subject.
  • Experience in IB PYP or an international school is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication classroom management and collaboration skills.
