Job Description

Oakridge International School Bangalore

We are looking for The
EYP Teacher Assistantwho supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners. The role involves assisting with classroom activities student supervision learning resources routines and daily classroom management while supporting the IB Early Years Programme (EYP) approach.

Key Responsibilities

Support the teacher in planning and conducting age-appropriate learning activities.

Assist students with classroom routines learning and personal care.

Encourage students social emotional and communication development.

Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning resources.

Maintain a safe clean and welcoming classroom environment.

Observe and support individual student needs.

Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure students overall well-being.

Follow school policies safeguarding procedures and IB values.

Required Skills/Abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience and child-friendly approach

Classroom management skills

Teamwork and collaboration

Creativity and adaptability

Good observation and organisational skills

Understanding of child safety and safeguarding

Prior Early Years/IB experience preferred
