Job Overview:
Our client is seeking highly skilled Tax Managers or Senior Tax Managers specializing in U.S. Partnership Taxation to join our team. You will be responsible for the preparation of complex U.S. Partnership tax returns (Form 1065) specifically for Real Estate Owners & Developers. This is a full-time role that requires deep expertise in Partnership Taxation and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and detail.
Key Responsibilities:
o Prepare complex U.S. Partnership Tax Returns (Form 1065) for real estate entities including special allocations depreciation K-1s K-2s and K-3s.
o Manage and maintain Partners Capital Accounts (IRC Section 704(b)).
o Handle fixed asset disposals recapture of depreciation and related tax matters.
o Work closely with U.S. CPAs ensuring tax returns are prepared accurately and submitted for review.
o Ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state tax regulations specifically tailored to real estate owners and developers.
o Manage deadlines and ensure the timely submission of all tax-related documents.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-10 years of experience in U.S. Partnership Taxation.
Expertise in U.S. tax codes related to real estate partnerships.
Proficiency in handling Partnership Taxation issues including special allocations depreciation K-1s K-2s K-3s and Partner Capital Account Maintenance Rules.
Experience with tax software and tools for preparing U.S. partnership tax returns.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication skills particularly when liaising with U.S. CPAs.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with real estate entities in the U.S. market.
In-depth knowledge of IRC Section 704(b) and related tax regulations.
