store incharge is responsible for the end-to-end management of a store or warehouse facility. Their core duties involve overseeing inventory control supervising staff managing material receipts and issues and ensuring strict compliance with health and safety roles and responsibilities can be broken down into the following core areas:1. Inventory & Stock ManagementStock Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels by tracking fast- and slow-moving items to prevent shortages or : Monitor minimum stock levels and generate timely purchase requests to replenish Audits: Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock verifications to ensure system data matches the actual Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damage verify them against Purchase Orders (PO) and handle the return of defective items.2. Daily Store OperationsReceipt & Dispatch: Manage the logistics of receiving incoming goods and overseeing the accurate dispatch or issuance of Optimization: Organize the store layout efficiently so items are correctly categorized labelled and easy to Issuance: Issue items to production departments or customers based on authorized indents requisitions or sales orders.3. Record Keeping & DocumentationDigital Logging: Update and maintain real-time inventory records using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or manual Tracking: File and track essential documents like Material Receipt Notes (MRN) delivery challans and issue : Prepare regular reports regarding stock capacity inventory valuation and material discrepancies.4. Team SupervisionStaff Management: Supervise train schedule and evaluate the performance of store personnel and warehouse Delegation: Assign daily responsibilities monitor workflow and ensure all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).5. Compliance Safety & SecurityFacility Maintenance: Ensure the store premises remain clean orderly and Protocols: Enforce safety and security measures to prevent theft fire hazards and workplace injuries.
