Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Storage Administrator to manage maintain and support enterprise storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with storage technologies SAN/NAS administration backup solutions performance tuning and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise storage systems (EMC Dell NetApp HPE IBM Hitachi or Pure Storage).
- Manage SAN/NAS environments storage provisioning zoning masking and LUN management.
- Configure and maintain Fibre Channel and iSCSI storage networks.
- Monitor storage performance capacity utilization and implement optimization strategies.
- Perform storage provisioning migration replication backup and disaster recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot storage SAN and backup-related issues with minimal downtime.
- Work closely with virtualization Linux Windows and database teams to support infrastructure requirements.
- Implement storage security high availability and business continuity solutions.
- Create and maintain storage documentation SOPs and operational procedures.
- Participate in production support maintenance activities and on-call rotations.
Required Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in Storage Administration.
- Hands-on experience with Dell EMC NetApp HPE IBM Storage Hitachi or Pure Storage.
- Strong knowledge of SAN NAS Fibre Channel iSCSI RAID LUN Zoning and Masking.
- Experience with storage replication and disaster recovery technologies.
- Knowledge of backup solutions such as NetBackup Commvault Veeam or Avamar.
- Experience with VMware Windows and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with storage monitoring and capacity planning.
- Good understanding of scripting (PowerShell Bash or Python) is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud storage (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
- Relevant storage or infrastructure certifications are preferred.
