We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Steel Structural Project Engineer in Chennai. Key Responsibilities

Prepare structural design calculations for GIS steel support structures above 66kV using IDEA StatiCa and Hilti Profis.

Coordinate with Primary Engineering Secondary Engineering Project Management and Production teams.

Plan and monitor project activities to ensure smooth execution.

Review stakeholder inputs and ensure engineering deliverables are complete.

Develop project-specific civil loading plans and structural recommendations.

Perform self-review and peer review of engineering documents.

Deliver high-quality engineering outputs within project timelines.

Maintain project documentation in accordance with quality processes.

Required Skills

Structural analysis and design calculations.

IDEA StatiCa Connection and component design.

Hilti Profis Anchor and fixing design validation.

Tekla Structures Structural modeling and detailing.

GIS Structure Engineering Design of support structures for GIS installations.

Project Coordination Cross-functional stakeholder management.

Technical Documentation Engineering reports and quality records.

Required Skills:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the UPS Systems or Power Electronics industry. Proficiency in handling UPS systems battery chargers telecom rectifiers battery systems and automatic power factor correction panels. Strong understanding of electrical/electronic principles and components. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams blueprints and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Required Education:

Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
