About the Team
The Alternate Delivery Models team operates under the DSP program and is chartered with reimagining last-mile delivery across India. As we expand into new markets in India this team plays a critical role in launching stabilizing and scaling emerging delivery solutions that complement our traditional delivery network. You will work cross-functionally with operations technology finance fleet management and external partners to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end program management for alternate delivery models including Drone Delivery Electric Fleet (L3 EVs L5 EVs) Saddle Bags Walker/Biker on EV and Amazon Lockers.
Lead the launch of new alternate delivery programs across India expansion markets from concept through pilot to full-scale deployment.
Develop and execute stabilization plans post-launch to ensure consistent service quality delivery reliability and operational efficiency.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each delivery model including delivery speed cost per delivery capacity utilization and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations Finance Technology Safety and Sustainability teams to align on program goals and execution plans.
Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities for new delivery models and geographic expansion.
Manage relationships with external partners vendors and regulatory bodies relevant to drone operations EV fleet management and locker deployments.
Create and present business reviews program updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Work with Operations leadership to integrate alternate delivery models into existing fulfillment and last-mile networks ensuring seamless handoffs.
Lead vendor development initiatives including vendor identification capability assessment performance benchmarking and continuous improvement programs to build a robust and cost-effective supply base.
- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- 5 years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
