Sr Manufacturing Manager Material Plan & Execution
Job Summary
Essential Responsibilities :
Manage master planning material processes and systems prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements. Works together with Plant leadership level. Works on cross functional teams. Will be required to pitch on specific topics to Global specialists and Senior PL leadership. Responsible for establishment of production schedules monitoring of performance compared to schedule commitments proactive identification of risks and opportunities and recommendation of actions to drive on-time performance. Responsible for master scheduling of project execution deliverable reflecting the designated scope and level of detail for contract execution through close out. Ensure participation in all Lean AWO and VSMs to drive continuous improvement in factory performance on lead times and reduce waiting period. Responsible on ITO as well as OTR. Responsible for workload x capacity analysis customer RFQ analysis & response and S&OP meeting. Monitor change order request & purchase requisitions in line with MPS. Driving MDM MoS/Tableau and execute MRP exception messages and project delivery pacing. Ensure mechanism with sourcing to deliver material to shop as per dynamic plan/ MPS. On time delivery of components from LTI factory. Monitoring Sales targets. Schedules purchases and ensures availability of purchased parts reviewing and acting on purchase requisitions. Define replenishment modes of purchased material : pull/push mode. Define and put in place appropriate lot sizing policies in order to optimize level of inventory. Manage purchase requisitions and execute MRP exception messages (reschedule IN/OUT). Propose forecast methodology and validate forecast schedules to send to vendors. Define and maintain periodically MRP parameter on material master. Define visual management parameter for appropriate materials: Kanban Min/Max. Ensure data consistency cross organizations: material sourcing Engineering AME and Manufacturing. Accountable for MRP data quality. Interface with sourcing team on supplier lead time reduction and requirements of plants supply chain (T&C lot sizing VSM/consignment). Comply with Quality Procedures work instructions and Processes in ebook and on site. Report or resolve any non-conformance and process in a timely manner. Identifies and evaluate EHS risks in own area and implements practical measures.
Qualifications/Requirements :
Minimum Bachelor of Engineering. 16 years of relevant experience in Production Planning/Material Planning/Supply Chain Management/ Procurement/ Warehousing/ Inventory Management. Knowledge of Primavera/ MS Project and SAP is a must. Good knowledge of planning processes like MoS Tableau etc. Conversant with Load leveling activities and MS-Office.
