Job Description

Sony India Software Centre is looking for a Senior Java Developer with CI/CD

expertise to design develop and maintain scalable backend applications and

microservices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality

software solutions while driving automation reliability and operational excellence

through modern CI/CD and cloud-native practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop test and maintain backend applications using Java Spring

Boot.

Build and support microservices-based architectures.

Develop and maintain shared Jenkins libraries to standardize CI/CD workflows.

Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Collaborate with product owners architects and engineering teams to deliver

scalable solutions.

Conduct code reviews mentor team members and promote engineering best

practices.

Monitor troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Java Spring Boot development.

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Solid understanding of microservices distributed systems and scalable

architectures.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines Jenkins Git Maven/Gradle

SonarQube Nexus and Artifactory.

Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2 S3 IAM RDS

CloudWatch ECS/EKS Lambda and CloudFormation.

Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch ELK

Prometheus and Grafana.

Strong problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

7 years of Java backend development experience.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
