Sr Associate, MAPP Developer

ROLE SUMMARY

MAPP (My Anti-corruption Policy and Procedures) is Pfizers compliance platform designed to uphold the companys commitment to ethical business practices and adherence to global anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws. The MAPP solution provides a centralized digital framework for managing documenting and approving interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) government officials and third-party entities across global markets. The solution is a cornerstone of Pfizers compliance infrastructure ensuring that all business activities are conducted with integrity and transparency.

In this role you will be responsible for developing testing and supporting robust scalable and secure Appian applications that support critical business processes across the enterprise. This role serves as an experienced hands-on Appian developer delivering solutions that align with enterprise standards performance expectations and security frameworks under the guidance of the Pfizer development lead. This role partners closely with Product Owners Security and crossfunctional Agile teams to deliver highquality applications integrations and reusable components.

The position requires solid hands-on proficiency in Appian platform capabilitiesincluding process models interfaces rules data design integrations and modern lowcode patternsand sound judgment in applying established best practices to create maintainable futureproof addition to handson development this role contributes to design discussions and stays current with new Appian features and industry trends to support continuous improvement

In this role you will need to work collaboratively with individuals across teams and functions to achieve the business outcomes.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with product owners analysts and senior developers togather and refine requirements and help convert them into technical scope user stories and acceptance criteria
• Identifyintegration touchpoints and dependencies(APIs data sources) and contribute to effort estimates and sprint planning.
• Contribute to the design of endtoend Appian solutions(data model/CDTs & Records SAIL UX process models security model) with guidance from senior developers aligned to best practices and enterprise standards.
• Implement integrations (REST/SOAP RDBMS thirdparty connectors) following documenteddesign patterns and performance considerations.
• Implement Appian components:SAIL interfaces process models rules/expressions Records CDTs Web APIs reports and integrations
• Applycode standards reuse strategies and design patterns; participate in peer reviews during sprints and support Associate-level team members
• Optimize during development forUX and performance(efficient queries orchestration paging caching responsive UIs)
• Performunit testing and code reviews; validate security roles and data access; fix defects proactively.
• Assist withperformance tuning and troubleshootingusing logs performance dashboards and Appian Health Check prior to release
• Support packaging and promotion ofapplications across environments with Appian deployment tooling/Admin Console; contribute to release notes and rollback plans
• Support release coordination with QA/DevOps and stakeholders; ensure compliance withquality and security gatesin Agile increments.
• Stabilize and supportpostgolive: monitor triage resolve incidents; perform rootcause analysis and deliver hotfixes.
• Contribute tocontinuous improvement: adopt new Appian features help refine reusable components and share knowledge with Associate team members.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degreein Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related field
• 3 years of development experience with at least 1 year ofhands-on Appian development experienceincluding SAIL process models records reports integrations and interfaces
• Working knowledge ofAppian plug-insAppian Web APIsdata stores andAppian object management
• Experience buildingworkflow automationsand contributing toenterprise-scale Appian applications
• Proficiency inRESTful API integrationJSON/XML and working with relational databases (SQL)
• Solid understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC)and Agile delivery methodologies
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Appian solutions withstrong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication skills with experience collaborating acrosscrossfunctional teams architects and business stakeholders
• Foundational understanding ofAppian architecture concepts including performance tuning scalability and object governance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Appian Certified Associate Developer (ACAD)certification preferred; progress toward Appian Certified Senior Developer is a plus
• Exposure toCI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and Appians deployment automation tools
• Familiarity withProcess Mining AI-enabled workflows and low-code automation strategies
• Good understanding ofdata modeling relational databases and enterprise data architectures
