4. Job Purpose
The Solution Architect AWS Cloud will be responsible for designing and positioning scalable cloud solutions for enterprise customers across cloud migration modernization managed services and digital transformation initiatives. The role involves working closely with enterprise sales teams customers AWS partner teams and internal delivery teams to architect secure scalable and commercially optimized cloud solutions on AWS platforms. The incumbent will engage with CXOs IT leaders and technical stakeholders to understand customer requirements lead solution discussions support pre-sales engagements and drive successful cloud transformation initiatives from assessment to solution closure. |
5. Primary Responsibilities
Work closely with Enterprise Sales teams to identify cloud transformation opportunities and architect AWS-based solutions for enterprise customers.
Understand customer requirements related to infrastructure application architecture deployment workflows and business objectives.
Design secure scalable and highly available cloud architectures using AWS services and cloud-native technologies.
Lead technical discovery workshops solution discussions and architecture reviews with enterprise customers.
Conduct cloud readiness assessments and define migration and modernization strategies for enterprise workloads.
Support cloud adoption initiatives involving migration optimization managed services and application modernization.
Collaborate with Sales teams to create technical proposals solution documents BOMs and commercial recommendations.
Present technical and business value propositions to CIOs CTOs CXOs and technical stakeholders.
Handle end-to-end pre-sales activities including RFI RFP and RFQ responses for cloud-based opportunities.
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth transition and implementation of proposed solutions.
6. Additional Responsibilities
Create impactful presentations architecture diagrams and technical documentation for customer engagements.
Conduct market research competitor analysis and industry trend analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Participate in customer events webinars workshops and industry forums representing Rapyders cloud capabilities.
Support internal competency-building initiatives cloud practice development and reusable solution accelerators.
Contribute to blogs proof-of-concepts (POCs) and automation initiatives aligned with new cloud technologies.
Collaborate with AWS partner teams and OEM ecosystem stakeholders for joint opportunities and solution alignment.

10. Preferred Skills
Experience working on AWS cloud migration and modernization projects. Strong understanding of application architectures including monolithic microservices and containerized environments. Exposure to BFSI Retail Healthcare Manufacturing or Digital-native industries. Knowledge of DevOps tools Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation frameworks. Familiarity with cloud assessment and migration tools such as Cloudamize or AWS MAP. Experience conducting proof-of-concepts (POCs) and cloud adoption workshops. Knowledge of scripting/automation using Python Shell or PowerShell is an added advantage. |
