Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.
SolarWinds Engineer - Job Description
- Install configure and maintain SolarWinds platform (NPM NCM SAM NetFlow).
- Design and implement network monitoring solutions for LAN WAN and DC environments.
- Perform device onboarding SNMP/WMI configuration and monitoring template setup.
- Create dashboards alerts reports and performance thresholds for proactive monitoring.
- Monitor network performance availability and capacity; troubleshoot incidents and outages.
- Integrate SolarWinds with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) for alerttoticket automation. onboarding devices to SolarWinds
- Perform upgrades patching backups and health checks of SolarWinds environment.
- Analyze trends and provide capacity planning and optimization recommendations.
- Maintain documentation runbooks and monitoring standards for operations teams.
- Collaborate with network/security teams and support operations where required for the Network build team.
