Role Summary
W are hiring a Software Engineer to build and enhance enterprise cloud migration disaster recovery backup replication and infrastructure automation product. The role involves developing scalable backend services working with cloud platforms and virtualization/containerization technologies and collaborating with product QA and support teams to deliver reliable enterprise software.

Basic Requirements

Experience - 1-5 years overall experience

Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent practical experience

Programming - Strong programming skills in C (preferred) or similar object-oriented language

Communication - Good spoken and written English; able to work effectively within cross-functional teams

Joining - Candidates who can join quickly will be preferred

Responsibilities
•Design develop test and maintain enterprise software features and backend services.
•Write clean maintainable and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
•Debug troubleshoot and resolve software defects across development and production environments.
•Collaborate with product management QA support and senior engineers to deliver high-quality releases.
•Work in a collaborative Agile environment with bi-weekly sprints participating in planning development code reviews and retrospectives.
•Work with virtualization cloud storage and Linux-based environments as part of product development.
•Participate in code reviews design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Learn new technologies quickly and contribute to product innovation.

Skills We Look For
•Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
•Experience with C and object-oriented programming concepts.
•Good understanding of data structures algorithms multithreading.
•Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.
•Understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
•Ability to debug complex technical issues and work independently.
•Ownership mindset with a willingness to learn enterprise infrastructure technologies.

Good to Have
•Familiarity/Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift/Container Orchestration.
•Experience with storage backup disaster recovery replication or migration products.
•Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure Google Cloud Oracle Cloud or IBM Cloud.
•Cloud Orchestration with API experience.
•Storage domain/product expertise.
•Knowledge of Python Bash or similar scripting.
•Team lead mentoring or ownership experience.
•Contributions to open-source projects personal projects or technical certifications are a plus.
