About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in automation testing using Selenium and Playwright. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in software testing with a solid understanding of database technologies. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through effective testing strategies and automation frameworks.

What Youll Do:

• Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and design test cases accordingly.
• Execute automated and manual tests to ensure software quality and performance.
• Identify document and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Perform database testing and validate data integrity across various database technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices in automation testing.

Expertise Youll Bring:

• 7 years of experience as an SDET with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Proficient in Selenium and Playwright for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with database technologies (e.g. SQL Server MySQL Oracle).
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins Git).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java C# or Python.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong technical expertise in automation framework development and quality engineering.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for quality assurance and continuous process improvement.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
