Position: Senior Android Developer
About the Role:
Responsibilities
Develop and deploy satellite-based crop classification models using multispectral hyperspectral and SAR datasets (Sentinel-1/2 Landsat NISAR).
Design Earth Engine Python API workflows for cropland segmentation sowing date estimation acreage mapping and in-season monitoring.
Implement geospatial analytics to support regenerative agriculture insightssoil health indicators cover crop detection residue mapping water stress and biodiversity metrics.
Build Python-based EO pipelines for large-scale agricultural monitoring (raster processing zonal statistics ML classification time-series modeling).
Integrate outputs with downstream systems (dashboards APIs ML models) to support digital agronomy and sustainability reporting.
Maintain data quality document methodologies and support junior geospatial analysts.
Promote best practices in model development and code quality.
Translate business problems into data science solutions and communicate results to stakeholders.
Skills & Requirements:
Masters/PhD in Remote Sensing Geoinformatics Agriculture Engineering Earth Sciences Environmental Science or related field.
>5 years of experience in satellite analytics for agriculture (crop mapping phenology yield modeling or sustainability metrics).
Strong expertise in Google Earth Engine (JavaScript Python API) for large-scale agricultural monitoring.Proficient in Python ( rasterio geopandas xarray numpy scikit-learn PyTorch/TensorFlow is a plus).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and geospatial databases (PostGIS)
Strong foundations in ML for agriculture: supervised classification segmentation domain adaptation or transfer learning.
Proficiency in Git CI/CD pipelines and frontend testing frameworks.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills to optimize performance and user experience.

Publications open-source contributions or patents in ML fields are desirable.
