The Site Engineer is responsible for on-ground execution ensuring construction works align with design specifications safety protocols and quality standards. This role bridges technical interpretation of drawings with active site supervision and material management to ensure project milestones are met with minimal wastage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Execution & Quality Interpret GFC drawings and execute works according to precise technical details. Supervise site activities allotting work to labor while maintaining safety and quality benchmarks. Manage plotting line-levels and check steel-shuttering for columns slabs beams and RCC elements. Oversee equipment preparation for concreting and ensure rigorous curing processes.
2. Documentation & Reporting Maintain critical execution documents including Daily Progress Reports (DPR) quality checklists and consumption records. Prepare daily work charts aligned with team leadership and document all casting activities. Share weekly work-done reports with relevant photographic evidence as required.
3. Resource & Process Management Implement cost control measures by reducing material wastage during site execution. Manage site assets machinery and material storage/stacking practices. Ensure all site activities and labor colonies meet company safety hygiene and HSE standards.
1. Site Execution 60%
1.1. Interpretation of GFC drawings and works as per the given details. 1.2. Plotting line-level for construction 1.3. Site supervision for construction works allotting works to labors with proper safety and quality. 1.4. Preparing schedule of required material and consumption records for used materials. 1.5. Maintain execution related documents like daily progress reports check-lists and quality reports. Cost control Reducing wastage during site execution 1.6. Preparing daily work charts for site activities in alignment to their team lead at site. 1.7. Checking steel-shuttering works of columns slabs/beams or any RCC elements in the project. 1.8. Checking and arranging equipment before concreting works. 1.9. Supervision of the curing process 1.10. Keeping note of each and every casting and other miscellaneous works at site. 1.11. Maintain and share daily departmental works and their work done report if required pics too on daily and weekly basis. 1.12. Maintain a clean safe and hygiene site as well as a labor colony. Also to take care and escalate any issues related to the site or colony.
2. Collaboration & Teamwork 20% 2.1. Co-ordinate and have perfect co-operation with their team members for smooth and successful functioning of projects for much more work than listed above. 2.2. Daily communication and timely reporting to their senior engineer for any work or emergency situation at site. 2.3. Follow the instructions and provide complete support to their senior engineer during the work. 2.4. Prepare and check pre & post checklist requirements and ensure every possible check to fulfill the quality. 2.5. Mutual understanding among the team to take equal responsibilities in absence of any team member so that the site works should not suffer.
3. Financial Perspective & Process Orientation 20%
3.1. Asset and machinery management and their best utilization. 3.2. Check and take care of company material and adopt proper practice for safe storage & stacking of the same. 3.3. Ensure execution meets quality standards SOPs and HSE standards 3.4. Finishing works at site 3.5. Ensuring the material received is as per requirement

Candidate Profile Education:B.E. / in Civil Engineering. Experience: 8-14 Years relevant experience in site execution structural work and finishing within the construction industry.
