Job Summary

As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing application releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools application programming interfaces and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams to understand needs and implement effective solutions is a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
Document configuration changes and maintain knowledge base for future reference.
Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
Experience in configuring and customizing ServiceNow HRSD modules to meet business needs.
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management including release management and system upgrades.
Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party tools within the ServiceNow platform.
Familiarity with low-code development environments and automation within ServiceNow.
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
