Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end validation of ACM systems on dSPACE HIL platforms (SCALEXIO MicroAutoBox)
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and validation strategies
- Validate key functionalities such as:
- SCR (urea dosing and NOx reduction)
- DPF regeneration
- Thermal and emission control strategies
- Design and implement test automation frameworks using AutomationDesk ControlDesk Python or MATLAB
- Configure and maintain HIL systems and simulation environments
- Perform communication and diagnostics validation (CAN J1939 UDS)
- Analyze test results perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution
- Collaborate with software calibration and system engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with BS6 / Euro VI / EPA regulations ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Automotive Mechanical Electronics or related field
- Strong experience in automotive validation and HIL testing
- Hands-on expertise in dSPACE tools (AutomationDesk ControlDesk ConfigurationDesk)
- Good understanding of after-treatment systems (SCR DPF DOC)
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of CAN (J1939 preferred) and automotive diagnostics (UDS/OBD)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in heavy-duty or off-highway vehicle domain
- Exposure to calibration tools (INCA CANape)
- Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation frameworks
- Familiarity with model-based development (MBD)
