Senior Test Engineer ACM

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end validation of ACM systems on dSPACE HIL platforms (SCALEXIO MicroAutoBox)
• Develop and execute test plans test cases and validation strategies
• Validate key functionalities such as:
  • SCR (urea dosing and NOx reduction)
  • DPF regeneration
  • Thermal and emission control strategies
• Design and implement test automation frameworks using AutomationDesk ControlDesk Python or MATLAB
• Configure and maintain HIL systems and simulation environments
• Perform communication and diagnostics validation (CAN J1939 UDS)
• Analyze test results perform root cause analysis and drive issue resolution
• Collaborate with software calibration and system engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with BS6 / Euro VI / EPA regulations ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability building

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Automotive Mechanical Electronics or related field
• Strong experience in automotive validation and HIL testing
• Hands-on expertise in dSPACE tools (AutomationDesk ControlDesk ConfigurationDesk)
• Good understanding of after-treatment systems (SCR DPF DOC)
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong knowledge of CAN (J1939 preferred) and automotive diagnostics (UDS/OBD)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in heavy-duty or off-highway vehicle domain
• Exposure to calibration tools (INCA CANape)
• Knowledge of CI/CD and test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with model-based development (MBD)
