We are hiring a customer-facing Senior System Engineer to support enterprise customers with cloud virtualization storage backup disaster recovery and migration solutions.
Basic Requirements
Experience
7 years overall experience
Customer-Facing Experience
5 years in support system engineering solutions engineering DevOps/SRE IT administration or similar customer-facing role
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Communication
Good spoken and written English; comfortable speaking with customers
Joining
Candidates who can join quickly will be preferred
Responsibilities
Work with customers and partners for product deployment configuration upgrades troubleshooting and issue closure.
Analyze customer issues using logs system behavior and basic infrastructure knowledge. • Coordinate with engineering QA sales and support teams to resolve customer problems.
Document issue details next steps and customer communication clearly.
Learn our products and explain technical concepts in a simple customer-friendly way.
Skills We Look For
Linux or system administration experience.
Experience in at least one of these areas: cloud virtualization storage backup/DR migration DevOps or enterprise infrastructure support.
Ability to troubleshoot patiently and communicate clearly with customers.
Quick learner with ownership mindset and willingness to work across teams.
Good to Have
Experience with storage backup disaster recovery replication or migration products. • Exposure to VMware/Hyper-V AWS Azure Google Cloud Oracle Cloud or IBM Cloud.
Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift containers CI/CD Python Bash or similar scripting.
Prior DevOps/SRE background is welcome if the candidate has customer-facing experience.
Team lead mentoring or ownership experience.
Ideal Candidate
