Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Symantec Platform Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers designers and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Assess the existing Symantec Data Loss Prevention platform configuration policy structure detection logic response rules and integration dependencies.
. Design and configure Symantec Data Loss Prevention policies to restrict printing and home mailer activity for high risk leavers during the notice period.
. Configure policy targeting against Active Directory security groups including validation of group membership synchronisation and policy enforcement behaviour.
. Support Symantec platform integration with Active Directory LDAP SMTP or email notification mechanisms workflow components and operational monitoring processes.
. Perform policy tuning testing troubleshooting and defect remediation across development test and production environments.
. Validate policy behaviour for internal and external employee populations including exception handling false positive management and escalation paths.
. Produce and maintain Symantec configuration documentation policy rationale test evidence operational runbooks and knowledge transfer materials.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
. Strong expertise in Symantec DLP Active Directory/LDAP integration and RBAC.
. Experience with workflow automation email integrations scheduling and infrastructure operations.
. Solid background in data security compliance and audit remediation initiatives.
. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
. Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
. Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good-to-Have Skills:
. Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP AWS or Azure
. Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
