Senior Solutions Engineer
Job Summary
Job Description:
We are looking for a high-impact Solution Manager to anchor our CPG portfolios pre-sales and solutioning engine. This is a client-facing commercially oriented role where you will own the end-to end solutioning lifecycle from discovery and shaping proposals pricing and executive storytelling-for US-based CPG clients. You will partner closely with our Sales Delivery and CoE teams to craft differentiated insight-led solutions in AI/ML GenAI and Analytics-translating complex technical capabilities into compelling client narratives and winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales & Solutioning:
- Own the solutioning process for CPG accounts across RFPs RFIs proactive proposals and capability pitches targeting US market clients.
- Lead client discovery workshops and structured intake sessions to elicit business problems define success metrics and translate them into solution blueprints.
- Architect AI/ML GenAI and analytics solutions aligned to CPG-specific use cases (e.g. demand forecasting RGM trade promotion optimization supply chain AI consumer intelligence).
- Structure POC / prototype scopes with clear problem framing success criteria effort estimates and commercial hypotheses.
- Build and own proposal narratives-from executive summaries and solution architecture to delivery approach team structure and commercial constructs.
- Executive Storytelling & Client Engagement:
- Design and deliver high-quality executive presentations for C-suite and VP-level stakeholders at CPG clients.
- Craft differentiated points of view (POVs) and thought leadership content that position MathCo as the preferred AI partner for CPG enterprises.
- Represent MathCo in client-facing meetings workshops and orals-acting as a trusted advisor and solution expert.
- Commercial & Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Account Managers/ Customer Success Leader in US and Mining & Farming leads for Vertical growth to develop account strategies pipeline plans and pursuit roadmaps for key CPG clients.
- Work closely with CoE leads Delivery Managers and practice heads to ensure solutions are technically grounded deliverable and commercially viable.
- Contribute to pricing effort estimation and deal structuring in coordination with finance and delivery stakeholders.
- Support internal capability building-contributing to reusable proposal assets solution accelerators and CPG-specific IP.
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience:
- 6 years of overall experience in data analytics or AI/ML consulting or product roles.
- Minimum 2 years in dedicated Pre-Sales Solutioning or Solution Architecture capacity owning proposals and client pitches end-to-end.
- Demonstrated track record of winning engagements with US-based enterprise clients ideally in CPG (Food & Beverage Household Products Tobacco & Spirits or broad CPG).
- Domain & Technical Knowledge: o Strong understanding of CPG value chain-commercial supply chain marketing and manufacturing domains.
- Hands-on fluency with AI/ML concepts: predictive modelling NLP computer vision recommendation systems and GenAI/LLM applications.
- Familiarity with analytics and data platforms: cloud data stacks (Azure / AWS / GCP) BI tools and modern data architectures (Lakehouse Data Fabric Semantic Layer).
- Ability to scope GenAI and agentic AI solutions-including RAG architectures AI agents and enterprise LLM deployment patterns.
- Pre-Sales & Solutioning Skills:
- Proven ability to lead RFP / RFI responses-structuring win themes differentiators and solution narratives under tight deadlines.
- Experience designing POC scopes with clear hypotheses deliverables and success metrics that de-risk larger engagements.
- Strong commercial acumen-comfortable with effort estimation pricing models and deal shaping conversations.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills; able to engage and influence senior stakeholders confidently.
- Soft Skills & Mindset:
- Entrepreneurial self-starter mindset-comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists.
- Strong collaboration skills; able to work across time zones with US-based clients and internal global teams.
- High ownership orientation treats client outcomes as personal accountability not just delivery responsibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to simplify complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Good to Have:
- Prior experience at a global analytics / AI consulting firm with a dedicated CPG vertical.
- Familiarity with US CPG market dynamics-key players regulatory environment and digital maturity trends.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks and enterprise AI platform deployments (e.g. Azure OpenAI AWS Bedrock Databricks).
- MBA or advanced degree in a PLUS in any one of the disciplines (Engineering Statistics Computer Science Business Analytics)
