Job Summary
Amazons People eXperience and Technology (PXT) organization is redefining how employees interact with HR systems policies and processes through conversational AI. As a Senior Software Engineer on our AI-powered HR assistant team you will own the technical architecture design and build for our generative AI platform at a moment when the underlying technology is advancing faster than at any point in our industrys history.
Our conversational AI assistant serves Amazonians at scale across multiple HR domains helping employees navigate everyday workplace needs seamlessly. Were expanding: bringing more HR experiences into conversational workflows building advanced platform capabilities that make the assistant smarter with every interaction and driving the operational fundamentals (accuracy latency quality) that earn employee trust. You will architect design build and ship production AI systems.
To fuel this mission we are growing our Engineering team in Hyderabad.
- 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- 5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
