About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design code test debug and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function policies procedures or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong 7 years hands-on experience / .NET Core C# Microservices architecture RESTful services and design patterns.
• Proficiency in React and Front-end engineering fundamentals (JavaScript TypeScript HTML CSS).
• Experience with building scalable distributed systems using modern architectural practices.
• Working knowledge of Python for automation scripting or backend service development (added advantage).
• Familiarity with Gen AI tools/techniques machine learning workflows or integrating AI-driven components (good to have).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines Git-based workflows automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to analyze complex issues and design effective solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Claude (or similar AI coding tools)

Job Expectations:

• We are open for both the locations - Hyderabad or Bangalore and will be required to work in the office as per organizations In Office Adherence / Return To Office (RTO)
• Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong communication interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Deliver highquality secure and scalable software solutions aligned with business and technology roadmaps.
• Take ownership of assigned modules components and endtoend delivery responsibilities.
• Perform code reviews enforce engineering standards and ensure best practices are consistently applied.
• Contribute to architecture discussions design reviews and solution blueprinting.
• Act as a mentor to junior team members providing technical guidance and support.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deliveryProduct QA Architecture and Infrastructure.
• Ensure timely completion of development testing documentation and deployment activities.
• Proactively identify technical debt performance issues and improvement opportunities.
• Stay current with emerging technologies tools and frameworks relevant to the engineering landscape.
• Uphold Wells Fargos risk compliance and security guidelines across all development activities.
