Senior QA Specialist

Position Title: Senior QA Specialist Location: Habsiguda HyderabadDepartment: Global Data Engineering Architecture & EnablementReports To: QA Manager Overview: We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist with deep expertise in both front-end and backend testing to ensure the quality performance and reliability of our data-drivenapplications and platforms. This role requires hands-on experience across Snowflake Azure and Selenium coupled with a strong understanding of ETL pipelines data validation and continuous integration environments. Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data pipelines APIs and web applications (front-end and back-end).

• Conduct functional regression and performance testing to validate system stability and identify bottlenecks.

• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium PyTest or equivalent tools. Validate data transformations and business rules across Databricks and Azure Data Services like ADF.

• Collaborate with developers data engineers and business analysts to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.

• Monitor production releases and assist in root cause analysis for defects and performance issues.

• Develop Automation Framework thats re-usable for all pods

Required Qualifications:

•  6- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.

•  Proven ability to perform front-end testing (UI automation browser compatibility usability) using Selenium/WebDriver.

•  Strong back-end testing experience - validating APIs ETL flows and database-level checks using Databricks and SQL.

•  Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services including Azure Data Factory and Data Lake.

•  Understanding of performance testing tools (JMeter or similar).

•  Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments and test management tools (JIRA Azure Test Plans).

•  Experience with Streamlit snowflake

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

•  Exposure to Python-based test automation and Databricks Notebooks.

•  Experience with Power BI or other BI validation tools.

•  Knowledge of data governance data quality metrics and validation frameworks.

•  Ability to analyze logs query large datasets and support test automation frameworks in a cloud environment.
