Job Description

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with experience in automation and API testing. This position will befull-timeandHybrid from Bengaluru.

What Youll Do:

• Design develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium.

• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.

• Perform API testing using SOAP REST and Postman.

• Validate backend data using SQL queries across SQL Server and MySQL databases.

• Work with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB for data validation and testing.

• Develop and execute functional regression integration and end-to-end test cases.

• Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.

• Identify track and manage defects through the complete defect lifecycle.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives.

• Support CI/CD and automation best practices within the QA process.

• Work with cloud-based environments and applications on AWS and Azure platforms.

What Youll Need:

Required:

• 6 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

• Experience in API testing using SOAP REST APIs and Postman.

• Good knowledge of automation frameworks and test methodologies.

• Strong database testing experience with SQL Server and MySQL.

• Experience working with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

• Good understanding of SDLC STLC and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Knowledge of Java Python or any automation scripting language.

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

• Exposure to performance or security testing is an added advantage.

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
