Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Senior Python Backend Engineers with strong expertise in backend application development system design cloud-native applications and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
The ideal candidate should be hands-on with Python and capable of designing and developing scalable reliable and high-performance backend applications. This is an Individual Contributor role requiring strong technical ownership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Own backend application development from design through implementation and deployment.
Design scalable and reliable systems using System Design and Architecture principles.
Develop and work with cloud-native applications.
Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for application development deployment and scalability.
Analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Write clean maintainable testable and production-ready Python code.
Troubleshoot performance scalability and production issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering and architecture teams.
Take ownership of technical deliverables and contribute to engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills
7-15 years of overall IT/software development experience
Strong hands-on experience in Python
Strong experience in Backend Application Development
Good understanding of System Design & Architecture
Experience building Cloud-Native Applications
Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to work as an Individual Contributor (IC)

Good-to-Have Skills
Exposure to AI/ML projects and AI tools
Experience mentoring or technically guiding junior engineers
Experience in Finance Healthcare or other enterprise domains
Experience with scalable and distributed systems
