About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP / Laravel Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP and Laravel a passion for writing clean and scalable code and the ability to take ownership of backend architecture and client-facing web applications. You should be comfortable working directly with clients mentoring junior developers and leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP 8.x and Laravel 10/11.
• Develop and optimize database structures queries and migrations.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services such as payment gateways cloud storage SMS and email services.
• Write clean maintainable and well-documented code following SOLID principles and PSR standards.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Manage deployments server configurations and production issue troubleshooting.
• Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements provide technical solutions and share project updates.
• Utilize AI development tools such as ChatGPT GitHub Copilot Cursor and Claude Code to improve development efficiency and code quality.

Required Skills

PHP & Laravel

• 3–7 years of hands-on PHP development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Laravel experience.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Eloquent ORM
  • Service Container
  • Middleware
  • Events & Listeners
  • Queues & Jobs
  • Artisan Commands
  • Laravel Kernel Lifecycle
• Experience with Laravel packages like Sanctum Passport Horizon and Telescope.
• Knowledge of Blade Templates.
• Experience with Livewire or is an advantage.

Database

• Strong experience with MySQL.
• Expertise in indexing query optimization joins transactions and database normalization.
• Exposure to MongoDB or Redis is preferred.

Frontend & Development Tools

• Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
• Basic understanding of or .
• Experience with Git GitHub/GitLab and pull request workflows.
• Familiarity with Composer npm and Docker.
• Knowledge of Apache/Nginx server configuration.

Cloud & DevOps (Preferred)

• Experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS SES) or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Basic Linux server administration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

AI Development Skills

• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in production projects.
• Ability to create effective prompts and validate AI-generated code.
• Understanding of the best use cases for AI tools in coding debugging documentation and research.
• Experience with LLM APIs or AI-powered applications is a plus.

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Comfortable interacting with international clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage tasks.
• Proactive collaborative and capable of mentoring team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Payment gateway integration (Stripe Razorpay PayPal).
• Experience with document generation workflow automation or e-signature solutions.
• Active GitHub profile or contributions to open-source projects.
