About the Role

As the People Partner for India youll be the primary People partner for our India teams with a strong focus on supporting our Operations organization our largest team in India. Youll work closely with leaders to build high-performing teams coach managers navigate employee relations and create an exceptional employee experience.

Were a lean and growing People team so this role goes beyond traditional business partnering. Youll also own and support a broad range of People Operations and HR Generalist responsibilities across India from onboarding and payroll coordination to policy implementation compliance employee engagement and process improvements. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves wearing multiple hats and building as you go youll thrive in this role.

What Youll Do

• Partner with leaders to support organizational growth team effectiveness and employee experience.

• Coach managers on performance employee development engagement and people-related challenges.

• Lead employee relations matters investigations and performance management with sound judgment and empathy.

• Drive initiatives to improve engagement retention and manager capability.

• Support talent reviews succession planning and organizational changes.

• Own and support core People Operations across India including onboarding offboarding payroll inputs and coordination leave administration policy implementation compliance HR documentation employee lifecycle processes and vendor coordination.

• Partner with Recruiting Finance Payroll IT and other teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.

• Lead People projects improve processes and take ownership of new initiatives as the company grows.

What Were Looking For

• 6 years of HR experience across both HR Business Partnering and HR Generalist/People Operations responsibilities.

• Strong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex workplace matters.

• Experience supporting fast-paced high-growth organizations.

• Solid understanding of Indian employment laws and HR best practices.

• Comfortable owning operational HR responsibilities while also acting as a trusted advisor to leaders.

• A hands-on ownership mindset you enjoy solving problems taking initiative and getting things done without waiting to be asked.

• Excellent communication stakeholder management and coaching skills.

• Startup or SaaS experience is a plus.
