Senior Payroll Specialist
Job Summary
DNV is building a Global Payroll Centre in Pune to deliver standardized high-quality payroll services across North and South are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to support multi-country payroll operations vendor management and global payroll improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Support payroll consolidation and transition activities into the Global Centre.
Execute and oversee multi-country payroll and compensation processes.
Review and validate payroll outputs from external vendors.
Manage payroll reporting reconciliations tax updates and year-end activities.
Ensure delivery against defined SLAs KPIs and compliance requirements.
Provide Level 2 payroll support to employees HR and managers.
Maintain accurate payroll and process documentation.
Partner with Regional Payroll HR Finance and external providers.
Contribute to payroll standardization process improvements and global projects.
Stay current on payroll legislation market trends and best practices.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in HR Finance or related field.
5 years of multi-country payroll experience.
Proven experience in global payroll (mandatory).
Strong understanding of payroll compliance and vendor-based delivery models.
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.
Experience with HR/payroll systems (e.g. Oracle HCM BMC Service Management) is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages preferred.

Ability to drive process improvements and adapt to change.
Innovation project and change management skills are an advantage.
Payroll-related certification is a plus.
