Senior NDT Inspection Engineer Team Lead

Job Description
The ideal candidate will manage and execute NDT inspection services across various project sites. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians ensure adherence to safety and quality compliance and maintain exceptional service delivery for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Execution & Quality Control
- Perform advanced NDT inspection methods on site with a major focus on UT and VT.
- Demonstrate expert-level hands-on experience in Manual and Advanced Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- Operate and work closely with cutting-edge Robotic UT systems and automated inspection tools.
- Apply deep knowledge of Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging and Visual Testing (VT) techniques.
- Interpret test results and data accurately to prepare high-quality inspection reports.
- Approve or reject components based on strict client and international acceptance criteria.
- Calibrate and maintain robotic and manual NDT equipment regularly to ensure accuracy.
2. Team Leadership & Site Management
- Lead a team of NDT technicians on site.
- Assign daily tasks and coordinate project schedules.
- Train junior technicians on NDT methods and safety.
- Monitor team performance and enforce field safety protocols.
- Resolve on-site technical and operational challenges quickly.
3. Client Relations & Reporting
- Act as the primary technical point of contact.
- Deliver daily weekly and final inspection reports.
- Explain technical findings clearly to client representatives.
- Maintain a high standard of service satisfaction.
4. Travel & Site Flexibility (New Section)
- Domestic Travel: Willingness to travel across various industrial sites within India for project execution and team supervision.
- International Travel: Ready to travel outside India based on project requirements and international client assignments.
- On-Site Supervision: Ability to stay on-site to monitor team performance maintain safety standards and handle client coordination directly.
Qualifications :
Education & Background
- Degree: / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Highly Preferred).
- Alternative Degrees: / B.E. in Petroleum Electronics ECE or related engineering streams are also welcome.
- Note: Only candidates with a formal B.E. / degree will be considered.
Certifications (Mandatory)
- NDT Level-II Certification in major methods (UT & VT mandatory).
- Certification must be valid under ASNT TC-1A or ISO 9712.
