Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
As an already accomplished Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for leading the design review and execution of HVAC systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with international standards and UAE local authority regulations.
It is expected to stay updated on industry trends new technologies and best practices. The min experience of 10 years is preferred in the relevant field.
Design & Analysis:
- In depth knowledge of Chilled water Systems VRF/VRV Systems Dx systems Ventilation and smoke extraction systems.
- Perform cooling load calculations using recognized software (HAP TRACE IES etc.)
- Prepare HVAC layouts Equipment selection and schedules Duct sizing and static pressure calculations Pipe sizing and pump head calculations.
- Supporting the Team of Tunnel Ventilation System as per project requirements.
- Fire protection design in line with NFPA and local codes such as UAE FLS & SBC is an added advantage.
- Plumbing and Drainage design as per IPC local codes and regulations is an added advantage.
- Well-conversant with Potable and Fire Water Pumping Station and associated equipment.
- Experience working on EPC projects which include MR TBE & VDR and Vendor design incorporation.
- Preparation of Material Requisition perform Technical Bid Evaluation of VENDOR offers and VENDOR document review post award.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable codes standards from ASHRAE NFPA UAE FLS SBC BS/EN.
- Well versed with UAE local authority regulations (DEWA ADDC Dubai Municipality Civil Defense) and KSA local regulations i.e. SBC.
- Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant building codes safety regulations and environmental standards.
Design Collaboration:
- Capable of leading the project independently and guide & support the Engineers.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs present design proposals and provide technical support and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Architecture Structure Electrical Instrumentation & Controls to achieve overall coordinated design.
- Collaborate with BIM team to prepare 3D models and 2D layouts.
- Maintain accurate records of all design documents calculations and correspondence.

Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical) with 10 year experience.
