Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Create 3D models assemblies and layouts using SolidWorks
Develop 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T tolerances and annotations
Design mechanical components weldments sheet metal parts and assemblies
Prepare BOMs and support cost optimization and manufacturability
Modify and optimize existing designs based on feedback and testing
Coordinate with electrical controls and manufacturing teams
Ensure designs comply with DFM/DFA principles and industry standards
Support prototype development and resolve design-related issues
Maintain proper documentation and version control (PDM/PLM experience is a plus)
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree Mechanical Engineering
10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Parts Assemblies Drawings)

Preferred Skills
Experience in robotics automation or special-purpose machines (SPM)
SolidWorks Simulation / Motion Study / FEA
Exposure to PDM/PLM systems
Knowledge of ISO / ASME drawing standards
Experience working with global engineering teams
