Senior ManagerDirector – Power MOSFET R&D

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Lead the establishment and growth of Nexperias India Design Centre as a strategic R&D hub for BG MOS. The Director will build and lead a high-performing engineering organization responsible for delivering product development advanced technology concepts and future semiconductor innovations aligned with the global technology roadmap.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support smooth running of India Design center (IDC)

Identification of suitable location if expansion is required

Co-ordinate with different groups: legal financial facilities

Build and scale a world-class R&D organization capable of delivering global semiconductor programs

Establish the operational infrastructure required for a high-performing engineering organization

Leads and shapes the R&D organization

Part of BG MOS R&D leadership team

Resource planning: Hire lead mentor team members

Develops R&D team in scope scale and competence

Oversees delivery of portfolio and future technologies

Products based upon a released technology

Process and boundary conditions simulation

Predictive reliability and stress simulation

Die design and layout

Inputs into R&D leadership team on technology roadmap

Technology Leadership

Recognized in the field as having deep technical knowledge of MOSFET technologies

Maintains specialist knowledge and strategic understanding of future technology requirements

Influence roadmap

Raise profile of Nexperia locally

Branding and networking with external partners

Lead strategic engagement with universities research institutes and external partners.

SKILLS /COMPETENCIES

• Expert understanding of MOSFET technologies and packaging
• Track record of in time delivery of novel product / technology creation projects

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• 15 years experience in semiconductor R&D
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering organisations
• Experience managing managers
• Experience delivering products from concept to production
• Experience influencing technology strategy
• PhD or Masters in Electronics Physics or related discipline (desirable)
