Senior Manager Record to Report (RTR) Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) operations ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes ensuring adherence to close timelines.
• Lead preparation and review of management and statutory financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Drive governance internal controls and compliance with SOX GAAP/IFRS requirements.
• Manage intercompany accounting reconciliations and elimination processes across entities.
• Lead balance sheet reviews reconciliations and timely resolution of variances.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders (FP&A Controllers Business teams) to drive reporting accuracy and insights.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including automation and process optimisation.
• Oversee audit activities and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Lead and mentor RTR teams ensuring high performance capability building and delivery excellence.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in leading Record to Report (RTR) / General Accounting functions.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting month-end close and accounting principles.
• Experience in shared services / GBS / BPO environment.
• Hands-on experience in ERP platforms such as SAP / Oracle / Blackline.
• Strong stakeholder management and team leadership experience.

• Advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills.
• Exposure to automation tools (RPA workflow tools) is an advantage.

Eligibility

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA / CPA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred.
• 1519 years of relevant experience in RTR / Finance operations.
• Experience in managing teams in a global/shared services setup preferred.
