Job Summary
What Youll Do
- Analyse day-ahead real-time and forward market data to support bidding strategies and maximize scheduling and portfolio revenues across renewable and battery assets.
- Manage power forecasting and scheduling activities including demand and generation forecasting deviation management and DSM exposure coordination with system operators.
- Track price trends volatility liquidity and merchant exposure to assess market risks and identify revenue optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to monitor asset performance identify improvement areas and propose new power plant optimization strategies.
- Support the Business Development team by analysing tender requirements assessing merchant risk and quantifying potential revenue upsides for competitive bids.
- Engage with the Supply and Energy Management team to evaluate Commercial and Industrial opportunities and develop aligned commercial structures.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly reports on financial performance S-P metrics and risk KPIs while ensuring compliance with exchange rules and market regulations.
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in Economics Finance or Engineering. MBA from a premier institute is preferred.
- 8 years of experience in energy trading and commercial management with strong exposure to power markets.
- Demonstrated expertise in renewable energy (solar wind hybrid projects) and familiarity with the Commercial and
Industrial segment.
- Deep knowledge of energy markets offtake agreements power marketing product structuring and risk management frameworks.
- Outstanding analytical skills with proven experience using advanced valuation and market models.
- Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
