We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) function for the Life & Annuity (L&A) insurance businessensuring accurate financial reportingtimely closingregulatory complianceand continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Coordinate with actuarialunderwriting and claims teams.
- Lead the team and report performance to senior management.
- Lead end-to-end R2R operations for the insurance business.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Commerce or a related field; CA/CPA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in Insurance Finance & Accounting is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of R2R month-end closing and journal entries.
- Experience in Life & Annuity (L&A) insurance accounting is preferred.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 local GAAP and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in SAP/Oracle and advanced MS Excel.
- Strong team leadership analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Important Requirement
This is a specialized Insurance F&A GL leadership position not a general GL accounting role. Candidates must have relevant L&A insurance accounting exposure in addition to GL/RTR expertise.
