Job Description

Do you have strong hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento frontend development and a desire to build innovative eCommerce solutions for global clients Can you work effectively with architects developers QA teams and other stakeholders in a fast-paced environment Are you interested in modern storefronts headless commerce full-stack commerce engineering and AI-assisted software development Have you used tools such as Claude Claude Code GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar AI development tools to accelerate coding debugging testing and problem-solving If you answered yes then we want to talk to you!

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Commerce Developer Adobe Commerce/Magento UI with strong Magento/Adobe Commerce frontend expertise as the primary requirement. The preferred full-stack combination is Magento UI React/ This role provides flexibility to contribute across traditional Adobe Commerce implementations modern storefronts middleware/BFF services headless commerce and composable commerce integrations.

AI is becoming an important part of our engineering workflow. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using Claude and Claude Code as development productivity tools for activities such as code generation debugging refactoring test creation technical investigation documentation and solution exploration. Candidates should also have the engineering judgment to review validate test and secure AI-generated code before using it in production.

Responsibilities

Top 5 responsibilities

1. Design develop customize and maintain scalable Adobe Commerce/Magento frontend applications including themes layouts templates UI components and responsive experiences.
2. Build modern storefront experiences using / and integrate them with commerce platforms and APIs.
3. Develop or integrate middleware/BFF services and APIs using / TypeScript.
4. Work with REST and GraphQL APIs and contribute to headless Adobe Commerce implementations and commerce integrations.
5. Use Claude Claude Code and other AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity across coding debugging testing refactoring documentation and technical problem-solving while ensuring the resulting code meets quality and security standards.

Additional Responsibilities

Troubleshoot optimize and improve application performance scalability reliability and maintainability.

Participate in technical discussions solution design code reviews and engineering best practices.

Use Claude Code / Claude and other AI coding assistants to accelerate development investigate technical issues generate and improve code and explore implementation approaches.

Review and validate AI-generated code for correctness performance security maintainability and compatibility with existing Adobe Commerce applications.

Use AI tools to assist with writing unit tests integration tests debugging refactoring technical documentation and code analysis.

Contribute to integrations with commerce and marketplace platforms such as commercetools and Mirakl.

Work with Adobe Commerce Cloud and modern Adobe Commerce capabilities where applicable.

Support both traditional Magento implementations and modern headless/composable commerce initiatives.

Adapt to changing project requirements and contribute across different commerce projects based on business needs.

Assist in identifying technical risks proposing solutions and ensuring timely delivery.

Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers and share technical knowledge with the team.

Stay current with emerging AI-assisted software development practices and identify opportunities to improve engineering productivity through responsible use of AI tools.

Qualifications

Top 5 qualifications

1. Strong hands-on experience in Magento / Adobe Commerce frontend development.
2. Strong knowledge of Magento themes layouts templates UI components and frontend customization.
3. Strong experience with JavaScript HTML CSS responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
4. Good understanding and hands-on experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
5. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks preferably / with exposure to / TypeScript.

AI Development Experience

Hands-on experience using Claude preferably Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot Cursor or other agentic coding tools.

Experience using AI tools for software development activities such as code generation debugging refactoring test creation code explanation documentation and technical research.

Ability to effectively prompt and guide AI coding tools to understand existing codebases and implement changes.

Strong engineering judgment to review test debug and validate AI-generated code before incorporating it into production applications.

Understanding of the limitations and risks of AI-generated code particularly around security authentication authorization data integrity and destructive operations.

Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud.

Experience with headless commerce architecture and modern storefront development.

Experience with GraphQL and API-driven commerce solutions.

Experience with / TypeScript and middleware or BFF development.

Exposure to Adobe Commerce API Mesh and App Builder.

Experience with commercetools Mirakl or other commerce/marketplace integrations is a plus.

Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts workflows integrations and customer-facing digital experiences.

Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.

Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile development environment.
