Senior Java Selenium Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Selenium Automation QA Engineer with 8 years of experience in software testing and strong hands-on expertise in automation. The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks executing functional and regression testing and working closely with clients business analysts product owners and development teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong client-facing communication skills good functional testing knowledge and the ability to independently understand requirements identify risks and drive quality throughout the SDLC.

• Design develop and maintain Java Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks.
• Create and execute functional regression integration and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Develop automation using Page Object Model Hybrid and Data-Driven frameworks.
• Work closely with clients Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements.
• Participate in client meetings sprint ceremonies requirement discussions and walkthroughs.
• Identify testing gaps risks dependencies and provide proactive recommendations.
• Perform defect analysis and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test reports dashboards and quality metrics for stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to QA processes standards and SLAs.
• Mentor junior/offshore QA team members and review automation deliverables.

• 8 years of overall software testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong knowledge of functional regression and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in client-facing/onsite roles.
• Strong automation framework development experience.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG or JUnit.
• Good understanding of STLC SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with Maven/Gradle and Git.
• Strong defect management and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong ownership problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• API testing experience using REST Assured/Postman.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of SQL/database validation.
• Experience working in enterprise applications and large-scale projects.
