We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Software Engineering.
In this role you will:
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for OpenShift Virtualization using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Automate the provisioning configuration and management of OpenShift clusters and virtualized workloads.
- Develop and maintain reusable IaC modules and playbooks for consistent and scalable deployments.
- Collaborate with DevOps Cloud and Infrastructure teams to integrate OpenShift Virtualization with CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize virtualized workloads and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in all IaC implementations.
- Document processes configurations and best practices for IaC and OpenShift Virtualization.
To be successful you will:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Ansible etc.).
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Virtualization and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab ArgoCD etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking storage and virtualization concepts.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of security best practices for containerized and virtualized environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
